  I was surprised by this place. The one thing it really had going for it was the food was ready quickly. The food itself left a lot to get desired. The lamb had either been grilled too long or left in the warming table too long. The edges of the pieces were dry and crispy - definitely overdone. The produce on the sandwiches was fresh, which is a definite positive. The hummus was extremely bland. There was apparently no Tahiti and/or lemon in it, so it tasted like exactly what it was - blended chickpeas. Did you know blended chickpeas without taking taste like blended cardboard and flour? I don't see us ever going back to Sam's, unfortunately.

  If you're feeling hungry and crave the taste of some fresh Gyros this is the place to go. Sam has several locations in Clarksville offering authentic Greek fare. The thing that I like the most is the fresh garlic sauce on my Gyros and french fries salted with a hint of paprika. This is a great place for a nice meal and reasonable prices.
